Description
This listing is for an OEM Left-Hand Side (LH) passenger footrest assembly, a genuine Aprilia part. You can easily confirm its left-side orientation by observing the distinct, small curved exhaust hook loop cast onto the base of the footpeg pivot block, which serves as the structural anchor point for the left-side silencer hanger mount spring or luggage loop on a running motorcycle.
Internal structural codes include '5SL-4' stamped inside the main frame-mount brace channel, alongside the factory production date casting block. The folding aluminium peg blade itself is stamped 'BJJ-L', confirming its left-side casting geometry. This complete assembly includes the LH passenger hanger bracket and the LH passenger footpeg blade.
Aprilia utilized this precise open-triangular passenger hanger profile for their first-generation sport and superbike frames. It directly bolts onto:
* Aprilia RSV 1000 Mille (Gen 1) (All model years: 1998–2003)
* Aprilia RSV 1000 Mille R (Gen 1) (All model years: 1998–2003)
* Aprilia Tuono 1000 (Gen 1) (Model years: 2002–2005)
(Please note: This assembly is not compatible with the modern Gen 2 2004–2009 RSV1000R or the SL1000 Falco lines, as those frames utilise a different subframe bolt-spacing angle.)
