Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 June 2026

1. About us

This website is operated by Bike Wreckers Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Bike Wreckers.

By accessing or using this website and placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Nature of our goods

We supply new, used, reclaimed and salvaged motorcycle parts and components. A significant proportion of our stock consists of second-hand parts removed from end-of-life or damaged vehicles.

You acknowledge and accept that:

Nothing in this section removes or limits your statutory rights that the goods will be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3. Orders and contract formation

3.1. All orders placed through the website are an offer to purchase goods, which we may accept or decline.

3.2. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever is earlier.

3.3. We may refuse or cancel an order at any time before this point — for example, if the item is out of stock, incorrectly priced, or we are unable to verify your payment or delivery details. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

3.4. Because much of our stock is single-item used parts, an item shown as available may sell elsewhere (including via eBay or in person) before your order is processed. If this happens we will contact you and offer a refund or alternative.

4. Pricing and payment

4.1. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on your order and no VAT invoice is issued.

4.2. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.

4.3. We take care to ensure pricing is accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price, and you may cancel for a full refund.

4.4. Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment provider(s). We do not store full card details on our servers.

5. Delivery

5.1. We deliver to the United Kingdom. Some larger or heavier items may carry a surcharge or be available for collection only — this will be made clear on the product listing.

5.2. Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers or events outside our reasonable control.

5.3. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title in the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.

5.4. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected or actual delivery date so we can investigate with the courier.

6. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Your rights to cancel, return and obtain a refund are set out in our separate [Returns Policy](/returns), which forms part of these Terms. This includes your statutory cancellation rights and our 30-day returns window.

7. Warranty on used parts

7.1. Unless otherwise stated on the listing, used electrical and electronic components (including but not limited to ECUs, CDIs, regulators/rectifiers, sensors, switches, displays and wiring) are sold on the basis that they were working when removed, but carry no extended mechanical warranty beyond your statutory rights.

7.2. Any voluntary warranty period we offer on a specific item will be stated on its listing and is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.

7.3. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and may be void if the part has been incorrectly fitted, modified, abused, or fitted by a non-competent person.

8. Use of the website

8.1. You agree not to use the website:

8.2. We may suspend or withdraw the website (or any part of it) without notice for maintenance or any other reason.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, listings, photographs, logos and branding — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce it without our written permission, except as needed to view it for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Limitation of liability

10.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10.2. Subject to clause 10.1, we are not liable for:

10.3. Subject to clause 10.1, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the price paid for the goods in that order.

10.4. These limitations do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Privacy and cookies

We process your personal data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy](/privacy) and [Cookie Policy](/cookies).

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

13. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@bikewreckers.co.uk so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the time you place it. The "Last updated" date above shows when this version took effect.
