The Crewsaver Crew Endurance Plus Immersion Suit (8800MK2 Series) is engineered for critical marine survival, meeting stringent SOLAS MED safety regulations for emergency gear. Constructed from 5mm fire-retardant neoprene, it provides excellent thermal insulation, delaying hypothermia and protecting core body temperature in freezing waters. The suit features robust glued and blind-stitched seams, with reinforced tape on high-wear areas like foot soles to ensure waterproof integrity.
Key features include an integrated face flap, ankle adjusters, high-visibility reflective tape for increased detection, a buddy line link, and a safety whistle. For efficient recovery, it incorporates an integrated 40mm/50mm nylon lifting strop harness with a stainless steel D-ring. It also includes integral 5-finger latex gloves with additional overgloves, and a waterproof zip. This suit is designed to be easily unpacked and donned in under two minutes, preventing a typical wearer's core body temperature from dropping by more than 2°C after six hours in calm 0-2°C water, and can withstand the impact of a jump from 4.5m.
