With a compression ratio of 9.0:1, it delivered a maximum power of 44 hp at 9500 rpm and 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) of torque at 7500 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, chain final drive, electric starting, and was originally carbureted by 2x Mikuni carburetors. It has not been started since removal but confirms good mechanical integrity by turning over freely and allowing all gears to select properly.
